What to confirm before your first payment

A clear price page should also surface the practical questions that are easy to overlook.

  • Which day you want to attend—or whether you want both
  • The student’s age and any previous martial arts experience
  • Any injury, medical concern or access need that may affect training
  • When monthly payment starts and how it is collected
  • The notice required to cancel, pause or change membership
  • Any future uniform, licence, insurance or grading costs
  • Whether a missed class can be made up on the other training day

Pricing questions

Membership FAQs

Is the first class really free?

Yes. New students can book one free first class before choosing a monthly membership. No payment information is requested on the trial booking form.

Does the £90 plan offer better value?

Yes. Two separate £60 weekly memberships would total £120, so the twice-weekly plan saves £30 per month—25%.

How does the household discount work?

The first membership is charged at the normal price. Each additional person living at the same address receives 10% off while two or more household memberships remain active.

Can kids, teens and adults use these memberships?

The prices apply to the regular group memberships advertised for kids, teens and adults. Please give the student’s age when booking so we can confirm the appropriate class arrangement.

Can I change from once a week to twice a week?

Ask us before the next payment date and we will confirm when the change can take effect and whether space is available.

What happens if I miss a class?

Please ask whether a make-up session on the other training day is available. It may depend on your membership, the class date and capacity.

Are uniforms, grading, licences or insurance included?

These items are not stated as included in the monthly price. We will confirm any separate costs that apply before you join or before an optional grading.

Is there a contract, and can I pause or cancel?

Membership and payment arrangements, including notice and any pause options, will be confirmed before your first payment. Ask for these details when booking your free class.
